Mendocino Headlands State Park

We've been to Fort Bragg and Mendocino before, but have never checked out Mendocino Headlands State Park. I'm so glad we did because we found this beautiful arch!

And we saw our first ever Pelagic Cormorant, too!

When I saw a flash of red in the trees to my right, I thought I'd spotted something special, but it was simply an ordinary House Finch that we see at home all the time. Somehow he looks even prettier at the coast...
