Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuge - East Blind

On our way over to the East Observation Blind, we had a mama deer and her two babies walk right across the trail in front of us!





Such a cute little trio!


Okay, on to the blind...


There it is in the distance, on the other side of the marsh...


This was our first walk to the East Blind and it was beautiful...





If I turned this photo upside down, you probably wouldn't be able to tell the mountain from its reflection...


And here we are at the blind...


No water here yet. Come wintertime, the marsh will expand and everything will turn green!


I look forward to returning in a month or two and comparing the late summer scenery from the winter scenery...
