Crumbaugh Lake ↔ Lassen Volcanic National Park ↔ Autumn Hiking Series

Lassen Volcanic National Park

I made the hike to Crumbaugh Lake in Lassen Volcanic National Park and it wasn't bad at all! There were a few little steep sections, but nothing compared to some of the other hikes we've been on in the park. We will definitely do this trail again in the spring to see how the landscape changes.

And the lake was pretty! Like I've mentioned about the Lassen lakes before, I was surprised at how different this one was from the others we've hiked to. The park has a wonderful variety pack when it comes to scenery!

I think I'm ready to take on some longer and more difficult hikes and I just hope there's time before it starts snowing and the park closes for the winter!

I'm giving this trail 5 Porthos' "God, I love my work" out of 5. How refreshing to hike for 5 miles and not feel like you're going to go into cardiac arrest!

Hubby loved this hike as well, and gives it 5 "All for one and more for me" stars out of 5.

Oh, and here's some bonus photos of King's Creek...

There's a little trail that runs alongside it right across from the trailhead to Crumbaugh Lake!

Here's the highlight video from our hike to Cold Boiling Lake and Crumbaugh Lake:
